Center for Land & Water
The Trust for Public Land's Center for Land&Water is helping to lead the way in the use of land conservation to protect water quality. The Center for Land&Water provides these services:
1) Publishes research, reports, handbooks, and guides on watershed conservation strategies and best practices.
2) Collaborates with other organizations to support land and water initiatives by: planning and participating in conferences, developing outreach materials, and working with others on various projects to align conservation efforts.
3) Helps communities develop plans for their watersheds that use land conservation to protect or improve water quality or water-related recreational access.
4) Provides information about why land conservation is critical for protecting water quality.
